Piaget has been making innovative and original luxury watches in Switzerland since 1874.

The brand is one of the forerunners in the creation of ultra-thin movements. The Caliber 9P brought out in 1957, was the first ultra-thin (2 mm) hand-wound mechanical movement. Then, in 1960, Piaget developed the Calibre 12P, the thinnest automatic movement in the world, with a thickness of 2.3 mm (official entry in the Guinness Book of Records).

In 2014 Piaget introduced the Altiplano 900P, at 3.65 millimeters the world’s thinnest hand-wound mechanical watch.

Piaget is a jeweller as well as a watch-maker and combines these two crafts to create masterpieces of jewellery work.
